Sky
Sky started in the construction industry over 20 years ago as an apprentice carpenter, gaining hands-on experience building and renovating homes across Perth. That trade foundation gave him the practical knowledge to understand how homes are built — and exactly where problems hide.
In 2012, Sky moved into pest control, earning his Certificate III in Pest Management and a WA Department of Health pest management licence. A year later, he added building inspections — becoming one of the few inspectors in Perth qualified to carry out both building and timber pest inspections under one roof.
The original PinPoint business launched in 2015, and in 2024 Sky established PPI Property & Pest Inspections Pty Ltd to continue delivering the same standard — backed by years of real-world trade experience, not just a clipboard and a checklist.
Sky is the only inspector on the team with a Cert III in Pest Management, which means he doesn't just identify termite damage — he understands termite behaviour, species identification, and treatment options. This makes his combined building and pest inspections genuinely comprehensive.

Dale Dewar
Dale brings 10 years of trade experience and 5 years of dedicated inspection work to the PinPoint team. He holds Cert 8 and Cert 10 qualifications for timber pest inspections, making him a licensed specialist in identifying termite activity, borer damage, and fungal decay in Perth homes.
With over 3,000 inspections completed, Dale has seen virtually every construction type and defect pattern that Perth's diverse housing stock can produce — from 1960s brick-and-tile in Thornlie to brand-new estates in Baldivis. His experience south of the river means he knows the local housing stock, soil conditions, and pest pressures specific to the southern corridor.
Dale's inspections are thorough, methodical, and detail-oriented. He uses the same advanced inspection tools and follows the same AS 4349 standards as every PinPoint inspection.
