Our Story

How PinPoint Started

Sky started in the construction industry over 20 years ago, gaining hands-on experience across residential builds, renovations, and trades. That foundation gave him the practical knowledge to understand how homes are built — and where problems hide.

In 2012, Sky moved into pest control, earning his Cert III in Pest Management and a WA Department of Health pest management licence. A year later, in 2013, he added building inspections to the mix — becoming one of the few inspectors in Perth qualified to carry out both building and timber pest inspections under one roof.

The original PinPoint business launched in 2015, and in 2024 Sky established PPI Property & Pest Inspections Pty Ltd to continue delivering the same standard of inspection — backed by years of real-world trade experience, not just a clipboard and a checklist.
